Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment in the Washington, D.C. area.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to meet their respiratory needs.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory health.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
