USA Health, a leading healthcare provider in the Gulf Coast region, is seeking a board-certified Geriatrician to join our team as a full-time faculty physician. This role will involve developing and maintaining medical policies and procedures related to geriatric patient care, providing direction and supervision to primary care providers, and participating in academic medicine to include teaching students, housestaff, and fellows.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures related to geriatric patient care
- Provide direction and supervision to primary care providers
- Participate in academic medicine, including teaching students, housestaff, and fellows
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines for geriatric patient care
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Geriatric Fellowship program
- Ability to obtain a medical license and DEA in the state of Alabama
