Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will deliver quality care to patients in a correctional facility setting, working closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.
  • Administer medications to patients as directed by the Medical Director or Registered Nurse.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the Medical Director or Registered Nurse.
  • Document patient information in the medical records.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
