Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Ambulatory Nursing team as a Professional Development Specialist. In this role, you will support nursing clinical practice, budgetary personnel activities, and regulatory activities associated with the clinical department. You will also assist with professional development coordination, ensuring compliance with directives, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency evaluation of new employees.
  • Maintain current knowledge base clinically and administratively through active participation in professional and educational nursing activities.
  • Provide educational reinforcement support as delegated by the ambulatory nursing leadership team.
  • Assist with ambulatory clinical skill mix assessments and provide clinical operations teams assistance with nursing skill mix optimization.
  • Support organizational and site-specific efforts for service excellence, financial accountability, quality improvement, and patient safety.
Requirements
  • 2 years of LPN work experience is required.
  • Preceptor or other education/training experience is preferred.
