Job Summary- Participate in the development of high-value complex antitrust cases, including pay-for-delay and product-hop cases, working with an experienced legal team for trial preparation.
- Contribute to the development of international human rights cases and cross-border civil rights cases.
- Litigate complex cases, including motions practice, hearings, and depositions through trial.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies for high-value cases.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to support case development.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys to prepare for trial.
- Represent clients in court, including motions practice, hearings, and depositions.
- J.D. with 5-7 years of litigation experience (class action experience strongly preferred).
- Highly accomplished academic and employment credentials (federal law clerk experience a plus).
- Preference given to candidates with Spanish language fluency and relevant experience.
- Effective organizational skills, a high level of initiative, and self-starter attitude.
- Commitment to professional excellence, continuous improvement, and a desire to learn.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Superior writing, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Investigate and vet potential new cases, including fact development and legal analysis.
- Ability to review, summarize, and highlight evidence gathered from documents.
- Ability to conduct all phases of civil discovery, including drafting written discovery, conducting meet and confers, and preparing for and conducting depositions.
- Superior ability to draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Ability to identify, select, and prepare expert witnesses.
