Pharmacy Technician, FT Days

About the Role
LMH Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists with the timely, accurate preparation and distribution of medications while meeting regulatory requirements and providing high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist health care providers and patients in person or via phone by responding to questions or requests and triaging appropriate inquiries to the pharmacist.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory according to system procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patient care areas.
- Prepare sterile intravenous compounds and maintain clean room according to regulatory requirements.
- Package medications with a barcode for accurate distribution in automated dispensing cabinets and upon administration to patient.
- Manage the inventory of automated dispensing cabinets.
- Maintain assigned inspection area according to The Joint Commission regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Registration with Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
- Plan to complete national certification as set forth in the Kansas Board of Pharmacy regulations.
