About the Role

At Better Car People, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Coach Manager to join our team. This dynamic and critical leadership role will act as a working manager, bridging the gap between our organization and our Dealer Partners to ensure the effective communication and execution of our strategies and policies.

The Performance Coach Manager will be responsible for approximately 18 onsite days per month, which may include a mix of onsite visits and office/training days. This role requires strong leadership and motivational abilities, as well as excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between management and field teams, ensuring effective communication and strategy implementation.
  • Drive impact during onsite visits and participate in account calls as needed.
  • Ensure the achievement of the training program objectives and the delivery of quality results.
  • Facilitate Executive Summary Calls to maintain clear and timely communication.
  • Guide the team through Pre-Launch, Launch, and Sustainment phases, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Uphold our processes and commit to delivering excellent service.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Training Manager/Program Director to implement necessary training.
  • Offer ongoing coaching to Performance Coaches to enhance their performance and skill set.
  • Support and reinforce company directives within the PC team.
  • Develop individual training plans for each PC to elevate the overall capabilities of the team.
  • Work closely with the Program Director, Client Success, and Training team to address PC development opportunities.
  • Advocate for the use of training and technology tools, such as SmartPath, BDC Central, and Salesforce.
  • Drive sales of our products and services across the team, with a target of one upsold day per PC per month.
  • Provide motivation and support to the PC team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between the PC team and Account Managers to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Ensure timely escalation of account issues to the office as needed.

  • Proven ability to coach and develop a team to achieve high performance.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts and driving program objectives.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry processes and training tools.
  • Ability to travel as required to fulfill onsite responsibilities.
