We are seeking a Client Relationship Executive to enhance our team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your role will involve nurturing and expanding current client accounts while identifying new business opportunities for our premium offerings within the transportation sector. Your exceptional leadership and customer engagement abilities, combined with outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical skills, will support the sales team in meeting our growth targets.
KEY DUTIES:
- Support the designated Account Manager in all facets of account oversight and business growth, which may encompass:
- Initial assessment and validation of RFQs (Request for Quotes)
- Drafting internal or external communications as necessary
- Coordinating customer-requested data
- Creating proposals and presentations
- Assembling Customer Presentation packages
- Updating weekly sales reports
- Various document revisions as needed
- Ensuring electronic part files are current, including initial file setups
- Handle incoming inquiries and take appropriate actions to assist the Customer and Account Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager, finance, and production teams to resolve commercial issues promptly:
- Analysis of commercial disputes and charges
- Reviewing debits and gathering information to address disputed amounts
- Conduct final reviews of Customer quotes, including:
- Internal summary matrices for evaluation
- Preparation of Customer quote documents for submission
- Maintain and organize the digital filing system, ensuring all documents, presentations, and updates are properly stored for future reference.
- Manage additional customer accounts as necessary.
- Calculate adjustments for raw materials, foreign exchange, and other pricing modifications as needed.
- Build and sustain relationships with Customers.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure Customer needs are met.
- Formulate strategies to drive growth and align with DBG's Five-Year Sales Plan.
- Provide timely updates to Customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Adhere to and comply with QMS, EMS, and H&S standards, Policies, Objectives, Impact & Aspects, and Hazard and Risks.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Sales Manager.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 4-6 years in account management.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within North America and potentially Europe.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in metal stamping/fabrication within the transportation industry, is preferred.
- OEM/Tier I experience is advantageous.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS:
- Daily communication with the Sales Manager, Sales team, and various internal departments as needed.
- Continuous engagement with Plant Management and Customers.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong judgment, planning, and time management skills.
