We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Open Rank Professor of Health Policy. This is a full-time faculty position that offers the opportunity to conduct research, teach, and contribute to the development of health policy.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct research in health policy and related fields, with a focus on developing high-quality and high-impact research that informs policy decisions.
- Teach and mentor students in health policy and related fields, with a focus on developing the next generation of health policy leaders.
- Contribute to the development of health policy through service on committees, task forces, and other initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or other relevant terminal degree, a strong track record of publications and external grant funding, and evidence of strong oral and written communication skills. The candidate should also have expertise in health policy research and related fields, with a focus on developing high-quality and high-impact research that informs policy decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have experience in precision medicine or other emerging technologies, expertise or interest in coverage and reimbursement policy, access and utilization studies, disparities research, value assessment and economic evaluation, interdisciplinary and mixed methods research, and/or systematic reviews. The candidate should also have scientific and grants management experience, and demonstrated ability to interact with individuals and organizations at all levels.
