The **Financial Analyst** plays a crucial role in assisting the Controller and Finance Managers by delivering comprehensive accounting support to our manufacturing facilities. Key responsibilities encompass executing monthly closing procedures, preparing account reconciliations, aiding in budget and forecast formulation, calculating costs for new products, and contributing to capital project oversight and asset management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Support Budget and Forecast Development:** Assist in the formulation and enhancement of budgets and financial forecasts.

+ **Financial Performance Analysis:** Evaluate financial outcomes to assess current performance and anticipate future results.

+ **Month-End Reporting:** Aid in the preparation of detailed analyses of month-end financial outcomes for presentation to senior management.

+ **Journal Entry Preparation:** Accurately prepare and record journal entries.

+ **Account Reconciliations:** Conduct reconciliations for essential accounts, including inventory and unvouchered accounts.

+ **General Ledger Review:** Scrutinize general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

+ **Capital Project Tracking:** Collaborate with project managers to monitor and report on project expenditures.

+ **Cost Calculation:** Determine costs for new items and assist in establishing annual standard costs.

+ **Inventory Management:** Support the planning and execution of the annual physical inventory for our manufacturing locations.

+ **Special Projects:** Provide assistance on various special projects as directed by management.

**Required Education:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

**Required Experience:**

+ A minimum of two years of relevant work experience or internships in a related field.

**Preferred Experience:**

+ Previous experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting.

**Required Skills/Qualifications:**

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business issues into clear cause-and-effect relationships.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, both formal and informal.

+ Proven accountability for delivering precise information while upholding the highest ethical standards.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

**Preferred Skills:**

+ Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, ERPLx, or similar platforms.
