Nurse Care Specialist at DAVITA

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in the delivery of comprehensive care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more.

Job Description:
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, conducting patient observations, treatment planning, and building long-term relationships with patients and their families.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and goals.
  • Clinical Expertise: Utilize your clinical expertise to oversee a group of patients, working closely with PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree Requirements: Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience: No Dialysis experience is required, but ICU, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Room, or Medical Surgical experience may be beneficial.
  • Certifications: Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certifications are not required but are highly valued.
