- Serve as a clinical resource for the nursing staff and healthcare providers to assist with planning strategy of wound care either pre or post operatively, or ongoing.
- Ensure appropriate resource management and develop a safe and appropriate discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Be responsible for direct nursing intervention, provided to a variety of age populations and diagnostic categories based on the physician-developed plan of care and established priorities for wound care issues.
