About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal, Healthcare Electrical Engineering to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our healthcare sector, you will be responsible for leading our electrical engineering practice in the Phoenix area, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business and marketing plans for the healthcare sector engineering practice in Arizona, aligning with business center, regional buildings team, and global health sector goals.
  • Lead a team of engineering project managers, designers, and CAD/Revit production team members, ensuring technical excellence, delivery standards, and best practices.
  • Manage the financial performance, quality control processes, and project delivery for electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and Stantec PM Frameworks.
  • Work with project managers and subject matter experts on key projects, developing and delivering client drawings, specifications, presentations, reports, and other deliverables.
  • Apply strong engineering skills, experience, and knowledge to the design and oversight of building projects, managing and planning production resources and workflow to produce design documentation, drawings, and calculations.
  • Maintain awareness of operational, technical, or regulatory changes within electrical engineering and the AEC industry, disseminating knowledge to the team and firm, and integrating into existing processes and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years related professional experience.
  • Professional engineering license required.
  • Project management professional certification a plus.
  • LEED AP credential preferred.
