Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Opportunity in New York
Salary: Competitive salary package based on 12 hour shifts and 34 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
About the JobWe are seeking an experienced labor and delivery nurse (RN L&D) to join our team at Cross Country Nurses. As a labor and delivery nurse, you will care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. Your duties will include coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication and managing potential complications that may arise. You may also be called upon to assist in caesarian sections. In addition, you will provide education and guidance to new mothers in regard to recovery and caring for their infants.
Requirements- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
