**Job Summary**

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Ulster and Dutchess County Jail in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, NY.

This role involves providing on-site medical care to inmates, working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.

**Key Responsibilities**

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The selected individual will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination and continuum.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

**Benefits Package**

We offer a competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $115,000 to $140,000 per year.
