Key Responsibilities:


Ensure compliance with nutrition care standards for all residents in alignment with applicable federal, state, and local regulations; Collaborate in the creation and upkeep of comprehensive dietary policies and procedures; Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Dietary Food Service Manager; Develop and maintain a repository of validated standard recipes; Process dietary modifications and new diet orders as communicated by nursing staff; Review and assist in formulating corrective action plans for any dietary service deficiencies identified during inspections; Participate in the Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee; Maintain detailed records of resident food preferences; Contribute to the development of strategies for assessing the quality and quantity of food provided; Organize and archive menus in accordance with established guidelines; Evaluate dietary needs for each resident upon admission.
