Role Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the Outpatient Cardiology Services team, you will:
- Function in a leadership capacity, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Engage actively as a core member of the clinical pathway team, contributing to the improvement of care processes.
- Facilitate staff development and education, promoting best practices in both Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Support patient education initiatives in areas such as Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Disease Management.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the relevant specialty.
- Possession of a current, unrestricted Registered Professional Nurse license in Georgia.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification is mandatory.
Preferred:
- National Certification in a Clinical Specialty is advantageous.
