Job Description

At Grassroots Talent Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Specialist to join our team. As an Appliance Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals with a knack for troubleshooting and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
  • Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems
  • Repair and/or replace faulty components or parts
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep the company vehicle/equipment properly serviced
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role
  • Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • EPA certification is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 18 years old
