Software Engineer Position

Aquila Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations.
The ideal candidate will have a system level understanding to lead the hands-on diagnosis of issues arising during integration and testing. They will work closely with other software and firmware developers to remedy these issues.
Key responsibilities include developing application software, writing and implementing efficient code, researching, designing, and implementing software applications and systems.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for meeting software compliance standards, evaluating, designing, and implementing interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, cloud offerings, system architecture, security, and characteristics of overall systems.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10 years of experience in software/algorithm development
- Currently holds a Secret Clearance (or higher)
- 10 years of experience in protected tactical waveform
- 10 years of experience in C++11 or later, Stand Template Library, Boost library
- 10 years of experience in MATLAB
- 10 years of experience in object-oriented software design and development
- 15 years of experience in software architecture
- 15 years of experience in software design/development
- 10 years of experience in Linux environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree

- GIT/GITHUB
- Java Development
- 5 years of JavaScript Development
- Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools
- Hardware and software integration
