Job Title: School Nurse Substitute

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking RNs and LPNs for school nurse substitute assignments in the Rochester, NY area.

Job Summary:

We are working with several schools to provide nurse coverage as needed. This is a per diem opportunity through the school year and summer.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to students and staff
  • Provide long-term management of students with health care needs
  • Monitor control of communicable diseases and infections
  • Accurately and consistently complete all required documentation
  • Provide health care screenings and referrals as needed
  • Aide in developing and maintaining all necessary medical, health and safety protocols and procedures
  • Administer medically prescribed medications to students as needed
  • Review all Incident Reports and provide necessary medical attention and follow-up to injuries
Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted RN or LPN licensure in New York
  • BLS or ACLS Certification
  • Associates Degree in Nursing and/or graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record

Pay Details:

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour. Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.

In addition, our associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
