Position Overview:

The Renal Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in the delivery of exceptional care within the Renal Dialysis Program. Our facility is committed to providing innovative and urgent treatment for patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive and advanced environment for our patients, ensuring they receive timely and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in nursing practices while continually expanding knowledge and skills.
  • Assess and manage the care of patients with complex medical needs.
  • Provide clinical guidance to team members and ensure adherence to healthcare policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Maryland (Compact Licensure accepted).
  • At least two years of clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of one year in a critical care or emergency setting.
  • Current BLS certification from an accredited organization.
  • Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN or CDN) is preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous; a willingness to lead is essential.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications is required.
