Job Description:
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas. This role includes assisting Room Attendants to uphold high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Service orientation and a solid understanding of customer service principles and processes.
Excellent communication abilities to effectively convey information and ideas.
Capability to read and comprehend instructions regarding cleaning chemicals.
Proficiency in utilizing chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
Availability during weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.
Incentives:
Signing Bonus: $200.00 after 60 days of employment.
Referral Bonus: $150.00 after 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Clear room attendant carts of soiled linens and waste.
2. Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
3. Remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
4. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
5. Gather amenities and supplies for room attendants.
6. Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
7. Flip mattresses and rearrange furniture as directed by the Supervisor.
8. Assist Room Attendants with the removal of trash and linens from guest rooms during high occupancy turnover.
9. Aid Shampooers in the relocation of furniture.
10. Address guest inquiries.
11. Provide assistance, directions, and information to guests as requested.
12. Report any suspicious individuals or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department.
13. Offer guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
