At BioSpace, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Director Neurodegenerative Disorders to join our Neuroscience Therapeutic Area Unit in Cambridge, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience and experience in drug development, with a focus on neurodegenerative disorders.

Key responsibilities will include ensuring seamless integration of scientific strategy with clinical strategy for clinical trials in neurodegenerative disorders, providing scientific insight and expertise into Takeda's internal drug development efforts, and working closely with colleagues from various groups to ensure close alignment between scientific and clinical strategy.

The successful candidate will also represent Takeda in interactions with the external scientific community and contribute to Takeda's strategy in neurodegenerative disorders as a key member of the Neurodegenerative Disorders Unit.

Requirements include a PhD or equivalent in neuroscience, or a PhD in another biological science with relevant academic or industry experience in neuroscience, as well as knowledge of neurodegenerative disorders, biomarkers, and endpoints, and biostatistics.
