Job Description

Cayuga Centers is seeking a dedicated Youth Skills Coach to provide support and guidance to children and adolescents in our Pittsburgh Treatment Foster Care (TFFC) Program.

About the Program:

The Youth Skills Coach will work under the supervision of the Program Director to provide skills training and life skills coaching to youth in the TFFC Program. The coach will help youth develop essential skills, such as behavior management, communication, problem-solving, and peer interaction skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skills training and life skills coaching to youth in the TFFC Program
  • Coordinate with the Program Director and foster parents to manage rewards, privileges, and consequences
  • Document each skills training session on the appropriate forms
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings and work collaboratively with the treatment team
  • Provide hourly respite and transportation for program youth as needed
  • Transport and supervise family time visitation to support permanency achievement

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required with a minimum of 2 years experience in mental health, addiction, child welfare, or related human service field
  • Bachelor degree, preferred
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
  • Vehicle Required: Must be safe and dependable
  • Maintains professionalism in all areas, including confidentiality
