Key Responsibilities:- Assessments and Evaluations: Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective interventions.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals, tailoring therapy sessions to meet each student's unique needs.
- Treatment Sessions: Administer direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques to enhance their communication skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' progress and communication skills, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless communication among stakeholders.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is advantageous though not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience
