Gale Associates, a leading national engineering and planning firm, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams in civil/site design, land planning, and permitting for various development types.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate staff to complete assignments, including construction documents, technical reports, and cost estimating.
  • Manage project billing, invoicing, and staffing projections.
  • Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's success.
  • Assist in proposal writing, responding to RFPs, and business development efforts.
  • Represent Gale at client meetings and obligations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, P.E. licensure, and 7-10 years of experience in civil design.
  • Expertise in state and local permitting practices, sustainable design applications, and Water Management Districts in Florida.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Civil 3D.
