Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Job Summary:

St. Joseph's Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Thoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and care for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
• Participate in medical education of residents, medical students, nursing and ancillary services on cardiothoracic surgery quality standard practices and procedures.
• Interact with surgical and consulting physicians, outside departments, nursing and ancillary personnel to improve patient care.
• Provide on call and/or clinic coverage as requested by the Division Chief.
• Maintain necessary and appropriate documentation for all services provided in compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
• Participate in scholarly activity and research.
• Perform administrative duties as directed by the Chairman of the Department of Surgery.
