Pulmonologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and education on respiratory and sleep medicine
  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
  • Order diagnostic studies and interpret results
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Meet the qualification standard for a physician as defined in VA Handbook 5005/113 Part II Appendix G2
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
