Job Summary

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team. As a Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with respiratory and critical care conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with respiratory and critical care conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to manage respiratory and critical care conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results
  • Manage patients with chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma and COPD
  • Provide critical care services to patients with life-threatening conditions
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
  • Completion of a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship program
  • Board certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
