About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our Containerboard Packaging division in Niagara Falls, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and excellence in alignment with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to achieve operational efficiency objectives and optimize available resources
  • Rigorously apply business processes and establish effective communication systems within the unit
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and occupational health and safety regulations
  • Develop action plans to address performance gaps or anomalies
Requirements
  • Minimum two (5) plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for the paper industry
  • Minimum two (2) plus years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in supervision and the manufacturing sector
  • Exhibit leadership and a collaborative spirit to inspire and engage teams
  • Possess problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability for occupational health and safety
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing is an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP is an asset
