Job Title: Material Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at MillenniumSoft. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, processing inventory transactions, and performing physical counts of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels and notify Planner/Buyer of low stock conditions.
  • Record inventory transactions, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves.
  • Process works with Planner/Buyer to resolve invoicing and receipt issues.
  • Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, and assisting internal customers.
  • Issue parts from inventory as requested by internal customer work orders.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Highly detailed and organized individual.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and material transactions.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other MRP software a plus.
  • Detail and process-oriented individual.
  • Self-motivated - does not require significant supervision to perform daily obligations.
  • Intuitive problem solver with Continuous Improvement/LEAN understanding a plus.
  • Relies on metrics and data to make informed decisions.
