Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Assistant to join our team at Carle Health. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will assist radiologic technologists in performing patient care and departmental maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologic technologists in performing basic patient care, ensuring quality patient care and adhering to medical center policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental maintenance duties, including cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, and transporting paperwork.
  • Provide support to assigned areas, prioritizing tasks and working efficiently to meet patient expectations and needs.
  • Relay information accurately to colleagues and physicians, and assist in locating images for review in PACS.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and oral English skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to access and print reports from the RIS system.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to customer and co-worker interactions.
