Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to enhance our Passenger Rail & Transit Group. This role involves significant contributions to the growth and development of our engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the advancement of the Passenger Rail & Transit Group.
- Oversee the creation of civil engineering and track design documentation, including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
- Lead the execution of civil engineering and track design projects, focusing on horizontal and vertical geometry using advanced software tools.
- Design track alignments and process survey data for optimal results.
- Prepare detailed specifications for specialized trackwork.
- Conduct field inspections and assessments as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Six to twelve years of relevant industry experience.
- A strong interest in track design and railroad systems engineering.
- Experience in track and highway alignment design for transportation projects.
- Background in multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads/OpenRail, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
