Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech and language therapy to patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous experience with dysphagia and videofluoroscopy swallow studies

Working Conditions:

  • Typically works indoors in a well-lighted, comfortable, well-equipped environment
  • May be subject to emotional lability of medical guests and/or family members
