Shift Details:

  • Evening Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with PPAP/Submission process systems or similar
  • Experience with internal auditing
  • Knowledge of OEM specifications, standards, and quality management systems
  • Proficiency in AIAG core tools including FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP

General Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with personnel at all levels
  • Willingness to undergo training to perform job duties in alignment with business operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand employee rights under OSHA, EEOC, and FLSA, ensuring no discrimination occurs
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to uphold workplace standards
  • Report any accidents or injuries immediately and participate in investigations
  • Maintain knowledge of workplace health and safety for employees and visitors
  • Collaborate with program managers and engineers to coordinate PPAP activities and ensure timely submissions
  • Regularly update clients on the status of PPAP submissions
  • Effectively communicate and address quality issues raised by clients, which may involve travel
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement permanent corrective actions for quality concerns
  • Respond to customer complaints within specified timeframes
  • Establish boundary samples with clients for subjective quality assessments
  • Assist manufacturing teams in developing Control Plans and Work Instructions
  • Engage in cross-functional APQP meetings to address open issues
  • Conduct supplier quality system evaluations per ISO/IATF 16949 standards
  • Support the Supplier Quality Engineer in reviewing supplier PPAPs and attending trials
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet departmental goals
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Supplier Quality Manual and ISO/IATF 16949 procedures
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
