Job Title: Automation Robotic Technician

Workbox Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Automation Robotic Technician to join our team in Piedmont, SC. As an Automation Robotic Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of operators and assisting with various machines to meet production demands.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply quality control measures to ensure product or service meets standards.
  • Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting to diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs.
  • Assist with machine operation to meet production goals and read/understand work instructions, manuals, and schematics.
  • Problem-solve mechanical, low-voltage electrical, robotics, and PLC issues from an HMI panel.
  • Manage time effectively and report job progress.
  • Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Participate in project documentation and direction/support for procurement activities.
  • Repair automation robotic, electrical control circuits, and equipment modifications.
  • Apply testing and inspection activities to systems or services.
  • Assess systems to identify deficiencies and participate in resolution of issues found.
  • Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Locate sources of problems and remove defective parts.
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts and adjust functional parts of devices.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Install equipment with assistance from machine manufacturers or other resources.
  • Rebuild equipment as required.
  • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance information and prepare reports.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  2. 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  3. Experience with automotive automation robotic machinery.
  4. Experience working with yellow robots.
  5. Must be responsible and dependable.
