Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Echo Cardiogram Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform all necessary echocardiography procedures.
  • Conduct 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, and prepare preliminary interpretations of those studies.
  • Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient echo studies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).
