Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients by performing diagnostic and special procedures ultrasonography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and special procedures ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Use independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, acoustic imaging technology, and problem-solving skills to optimize the echocardiographic evaluation.
  • Prepare, supply, and equip ultrasound rooms to meet specific cardiologist and physician requirements for procedures.
Requirements
  • Accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program required.
  • CAAHEP accredited program preferred.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-Adult) credential required.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
