Job Summary:
Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Office Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing clinic scheduling, and coordinating patient care. About the Role:
The Physical Therapy Office Administrator will be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. This includes scheduling appointments, handling billing and insurance inquiries, and providing general administrative support to the clinical team. Additionally, you will work closely with the Regional Director to develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:
* Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to all patients and physical therapy staff
* Manage clinic scheduling to ensure optimal patient flow and match patients with the best clinician for their needs
* Coordinate patient onboarding, including facility tours, data gathering, and physical therapy staff introductions
* Obtain verification of patient medical insurance information and manage patient insurance requirements
* Communicate patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters, and attorneys on behalf of physical therapists
* Assist with management of patient expectations based on clinical findings and provide post-care support as needed
* Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the clinic
* Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support to assigned location

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
* Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
* Must be able to fulfill office activities, including remaining stationary for extended periods and using fine motor skills

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional compensation opportunities, including hourly stipends for local travel and adoption expense reimbursement.
