Job Description

The Medical Cannabis Specialist is a registered professional responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences while driving revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with the General Manager to develop and lead the dispensary staff, ensuring compliance with inventory, security, and system protocols. The ideal candidate is passionate about the benefits of medical cannabis and committed to making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive retail sales and patient retention through effective sales strategies and product knowledge.
  • Maintain high standards of store operations, including inventory management and customer service.
  • Oversee the maintenance of inventory standards on-site and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operate POS systems and corresponding technology to optimize sales and customer experience.
  • Ensure a safe, clean environment for patients and employees, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company protocols.
  • Assist the General Manager in coordinating, scheduling, and training per diem pharmacists.

Qualifications:

  • Develop high customer experience standards and engagement through sales training and product knowledge.
  • Assist patients with their questions, problems, and complaints, handling issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Promote a positive experience for all patients, directing and overseeing patient interactions and providing clinical oversight.
  • Coordinate with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes and promote PharmaCann's customer service culture.
  • Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, and side effects, recommending dosing based on patient conditions.
  • Follow all processes to ensure accurate and safe protocols, maintaining quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure on-the-job safety of all employees and provide treatment for employee injuries.
  • Supervise and coordinate delivery operations, providing clinical oversight and projecting a positive image of the organization.
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann, supporting the company's purpose, goals, and key objectives.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for long periods and get in and out of a vehicle several times a day.
  • Required to drive and be outside for brief periods during all four seasons.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to utilize arms at extended positions for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull carts.
