About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Gecko Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen staff to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of high-volume kitchen management experience
  • Proven track record of creating a safe and inclusive work environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation procedures
