We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Carlton Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including continence care, showering, grooming, transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
- Encourage participation in daily recreational activities, such as crafts, games, music, and exercise.
- Ensure residents remain clean, dignified, and presentable at all times.
- Provide emotional support and enrichment to residents.
- Utilize a company-provided phone to access care plans and chart care accordingly.
- Follow care plans and document provided care accordingly.
- Read, follow, and sign any care plans and posted messages and/or updates during each shift.
- Keep internal charts current and know of each resident's needs.
- Observe, document, and communicate to the Care Manager or Director of Memory Care any physical, emotional, and mental changes in condition and/or all unusual observed resident behaviors.
- Minimum of high school education or GED or combination of related experience.
- Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Reasonable expectations of mathematical, technical, and reasoning skills to perform essential job responsibilities.
- According to Title 22 requirements, employees must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
