Job Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for exploring and implementing new industry methods to ensure the latest process technologies are utilized in the production of orthopedic implants and instruments. This includes developing or modifying CNC programs, designing fixtures, and creating setup sheets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting machine setup and operation, identifying necessary special tooling, and creating product and process specifications. Additionally, they will work towards mastering programming, operation, and setup across various machining platforms, manage tool life effectively, and apply effective project management skills. The ideal candidate will have highly skilled operating experience with two or more CNC machines, proficiency in 3D CAD, and competence in CAM programming. They will also be able to read and interpret blueprints, have strong analytical abilities, and excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
