Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at McLaren Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing compassionate and individualized care to meet their unique needs.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position working night shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patient status on admission and continuously thereafter, documenting all findings and interventions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to standards of nursing practice of McLaren Regional Medical Center, which consists of a systematic approach to nursing practice using the nursing process.
  2. Assess and document patient's status on admission and continuously thereafter.
  3. Develop written plan of care, including long and short-range goals and nursing actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
  • Certification/registration to practice nursing in State of Michigan required.
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire or transfer required.
  • Complete the Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course and pass the test in accordance with AWHONN standards within 12 months of transfer or hire required.
