Overview

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed images of the body's internal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Assist radiologists in the performance of special procedures, such as biopsies and ablations
  • Provide patient care and ensure the safety of patients during imaging procedures
  • Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients and staff
  • Organize daily schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program
  • 3+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field
  • A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment
  • Must have ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification
