Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as a X-Ray Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and be able to perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging exams using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
  • Bring technical expertise to make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and Wisconsin Radiological License.
  • BLS - issued by American Heart Association only.
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Working Conditions: Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

Location: UW Hospital, Madison, WI

Shifts: 40 hrs/week, alternating night shifts 2200-0800. Week 1: Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Week 2: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed
