The estimated annual salary for this role is $48,960-$62,400, based on the 40 hours per week work schedule and paid overtime. Job Responsibilities

This CDL Class A driver will be responsible for transporting parcels on established routes using a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck. Key duties include:

  • Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical functionality
  • Verifying load-related documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Driving to shippers and loading trailers with freight
  • Returning manifests and bills of lading to the office for billing purposes
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Have the ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Maintain required certifications and adhere to DOT and company safety policies

Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make quick decisions. Physical demands of the job include lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds repetitively, with some overhead lifting required.

Work Environment

This position requires working in various weather conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. Candidates should be comfortable navigating changing road conditions, handling different types of freight, and adhering to safety protocols.
