Job DescriptionAs a CDL Class A truck driver at Penske Logistics, you will be responsible for performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and utilizing scanners to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
Your schedule will include dispatch times starting at 12am, a 5-day workweek, averaging 45 to 50 hours per week, and the opportunity to return home daily.
You will operate late model, Penske maintained trucks, designed for comfort, and equipped with best-in-class specs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Hold a valid CDL Class A license
- Have a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Have at least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- Maintain a DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
The associate must be able to see and hear, have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will frequently move, stand, walk, and sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
