Role Overview: We are seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager to contribute to our innovative team, specializing in subsea robotics and ocean exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers throughout the design, integration, and testing phases of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) projects.
- Oversee performance management, including prioritization, performance tracking, and development plans.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and field test engineering teams to ensure cohesive subsystem and system-level design.
- Provide strategic leadership in defining technology, tools, documentation, and processes focused on systems specification, integration, validation, and testing.
- Drive technical initiatives to identify needs, propose solutions, and establish evaluation methodologies.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to achieve successful outcomes.
- Foster a positive and energetic team culture that emphasizes trust, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Deliver innovative, integrated solutions to adapt to evolving customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in hardware or integrated product development and testing, including team management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across various technical domains.
- Strong background in the Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment and maintenance.
- Familiarity with AS9100, MIL-STD 810, IEEE15882.1, or equivalent quality management systems and rigorous environmental testing standards.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and demonstrations.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. top secret security clearance.
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $142,000—$213,000 USD, based on various compensation factors, including experience and education.
