Position Overview

The Cardiovascular Service Line Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of cardiovascular operations. This includes the management and mentorship of staff, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as the preparation and maintenance of accreditation standards. Additionally, the director is accountable for the program's financial performance and productivity metrics.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degrees such as an MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA are highly preferred.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of seven years of experience in the healthcare sector, with at least three years in a leadership capacity. Experience in a for-profit hospital setting is strongly preferred. A background in leadership, program development, budget management, and clinical operations is essential. Strong interpersonal and human relations skills are also required.

Licensure and Certification

A current New Mexico RN license is mandatory. Additionally, certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.

Position Type

This is a full-time exempt role.

Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of a current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license.
  • A minimum of seven years of healthcare experience, including three years in a leadership role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience in a for-profit hospital is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build a team focused on quality initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
